They were married 1845 (probably PA as first 3 chidlren were born in PA)

Their 11 children were:Mary Ann "Molly DAINES-1845, Sarah jane "Sallie" DAINES -1847, Martha Marie "Mattie" DAINES -1850 (first three born in PA and rest born in ILL) Eli Ivers DAINES-1852, William Heaton "Heat" DAINES-1854, James Gillogly "Jim"DAINES-1856, Prudence Lucy DAINES-1857, Levi Montgomery DAINES-1859, Pauline Margaret DAINES-1862, Franklin Josiah DAINES -1865, and Lydia Irene DAINES -1867.

 

Josiah had a red-headed sister -

Sarah Ann DAINES born 29 Aug 1831 in Greene Co, PA

died 1 Feb 1912 at home in Newman, IL; buried Fairfield Cemetery, Douglas Co, ILL

married John D. GILLOGLY JR.

They lived in Greene Co, PA when first child was born in 1852.  Was in Edgar Co, ILL in 1855. Later moved to Douglas Co,

Sarah's obit does not state parents or siblings.

Sarah & John GILLOGLY had 12 children: Andrew Jackson GILLOGLY-1952, William Heaton GILLOGLY -1855, Laura GILLOGLY -1857, Samuel Grimm GILLOGLY-1860, Eliza E. GILLOGLY-1862, George Wiscover GILLOGLY-1864, David Spencer GILLOGLY- 1867, Danl O.R. GILLOGLY-1870, Irene GILLOGLY-1858, Raymond C. GILLOGLY-1874, Mary Ann GILLOGLY and James Sanford GILLOGLY-1970.

 

Years and years ago, I corresponded with a Mrs. Gladys Green Coffey who was a niece of this Sarah Ann Daines.  I have no idea if she is still living or not.  She was in ILL.
